A scientist says the law and order used to crackdown on Trump supporters was the biggest factor in reducing American political violence.

Thus extremist violence could be predicted to rise as a result of Trump removing law and order, replacing it with loyalty tests. In other words Trump may want a rise in extremist violence, to drive a harsh divide into American society and profit from the forced loyalty.
