Don’t say edge case.
Deer are more common than stop signs and lights in many parts of America, yet Tesla can’t see them.
The car did alert after hitting the deer, it just alerted RFK, Jr. to come pick up the carcass and dispose of it in Central Park. That’s the new protocol.
A little humorous.
But seriously, no modern sensors again? The Tesla bogus claim to have future technology that makes driving safer today, is in fact the opposite. Tesla makes everything less safe, and only gets worse with time.
Staff have recently leaked that the FSD engineering model means human operators are being paid to ignore or even encourage dangerous blind spots.
Drivers on the team and internal documents say that cars rolled through red lights, swerved into other lanes, or failed to follow posted speed limits while FSD was engaged. The drivers said they allowed FSD to remain in control during these incidents because supervisors encouraged them to try to avoid taking over. The critical-intervention drivers recalled multiple instances where they felt unsafe but believed intervening could put their jobs at risk.
There you have it. Tesla paid people to do unsafe things, at the expense of others. That’s basically the Russian FSB Logic of testing what crimes that mercenaries can get away with operating drones on American roads.
As I’ve reported here before, regarding pedestrians and animals let alone poles and trees, the Tesla driverless software design fraud is defined by an inability to see. It is an increasing threat to society.
